Built on precision performance and advanced micro guide technology, the Villain Micro-Guide rods are a more balanced version of the Villain rods that swept through the fishing industry in 2012.
The Villain series of four baitcast models and three spinning models weigh as light as 4.59 ounces and are among the lightest in the industry.
Cutting edge technology in the Villain Micro-Guide Series includes a blank made of 40 Ton Low Resin Content graphite using construction techniques that reduce weight and provide optimum sensitivity, allowing the angler to feel vibrations from the lightest strikes. Carbon fibers are integrated into the blank design for a unique look.
The Villain Micro-Guide Series incorporates many of the same components as the original Villain such as Titanium alloy guides with Titanium Nitride coated Titanium inserts. Each guide is carbon wrapped to reduce weight. The C6 Total Exposure Carbon Reel Seat adds to the rod’s sensitivity. High density EVA split grip configuration provides a secure control of the rod at all times. The Texas rig hook keeper holds any bait.
Baitcast models are available in lengths from 6’9″ to 7’3″ in medium to heavy actions. Rod weights range from 4.30 ounces to 5.64 ounces. Spinning models range from 6’9″ to 7’1″ in medium-light to medium actions with weights from 4.59 ounces to 4.8 ounces.
