Well folks its been one year since my articles and reviews have graced the pages of ODU Magazine. I looked back and found about 75 or 80 of them; that’s a lot of work. Frankly, it’s only the tip of the iceberg for what is to come.
It’s true that I have been holding back the good stuff, accumulated with over 30 years as an Outdoor Writer. You may ask why? Its simple ODU Magazine will undergo serious upgrades when we hit the 10,000 member mark on Face Book. We have over 5000 now, that means if every one of you would click one of your outdoors friends name that is not a member it would happen in one day.
Yes I have a bet with Bill we can do it by Christmas, and I don’t like to lose. So lets give Bill some work to do adding all these new members.
Who reads ODU Magazine? How about Movie Star Jeff Speakman, or Bruce Lee’s best friend Great Grand Master Leo Fong. As you know I deal in the Martial Arts so the readers include all of the Armed Forces Karate Association Alumni, The National College of Martial Arts and the US Sport Karate Museum (Gary Lee). Many active service and retired military from 4 star general on down the ranks, and those are just some of my personal hunting and fishing buddies imagine what we could have if all of you made that one little click to the right of your screen. And, you can click more times if you want to.
We already know ODU is the most read online Fishing magazine. My personal goal is to make Hunting/Shooting just as popular in the magazine. With Videos and reviews from Dan Galusha and Uncle John (Me), you know all about Henry rifles, Vortex Optics and LTQSA Damascus Knives. More to come, stories of High Adventure.
ODU Magazine is now read in China (Gobi Desert), Waziribad Pakistan, India, Germany, Nepal, Great Brittan, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Japan making us an International outdoor chronical, and that’s just my personal buddies.
The best thing about ODU Magazine is it is free for the readers and no one bugs you with telemarketing phone calls.
