Julia Grace Ketner caught and released a quality 4 kg (8 lb 13 oz) largemouth bass (Micropterus salmoides) on February 16th while fishing Florida’s Lake Okeechobee with Capt. Mark King. The fish ate a live shiner and put up a five minute fight. If approved, this catch will earn Ketner both the Female Smallfry record, as well as the women’s 10 kg (20 lb) line class record.
