DUCK SEASON’S COMING

DUCK SEASON’S COMINGIf you’re going duck hunting this season, you need to get out now. Spend time scouting and trying to figure out their daily routines, like where they like to feed during the day and where they go at night.

Different species can be found in different areas, so it’s important to know where they will be and at what time of day they will be there when the season opens.

While you are doing your scouting, look for blind locations and take special notice of prevailing winds.

When you get back home, get out your decoys and inspect them for nicks and scratches and replace with quality decoys. If your decoys don’t look real, ducks may not come to your calls.

Speaking of calls, examine your calls and replace reeds if necessary. Spend a lot of time practicing. Duck season is coming!

Stop by your local Bass Pro Shops or Cabela’s store or go to www.basspro.com or www.cabelas.com and check out the great selection of waterfowl gear.
