A box full of Yo-Zuri lures

A box full of Yo-Zuri luresTen years ago today I adopted a skinny little dachshund named Pepper. He is still with me, and got to go fishing with a box full of Yo-Zuri lures, which were a surprise shipment that I received yesterday.

The top producer was one of those new lures called a Knuckle Ball. It definitely is a lure that needs a trailer, and for that I selected the Natural Forage Baits green shad Swim Bait. The folks at NFB are probably saying, “What’s new?”

For the black and blue Knuckle Ball I would team a NFB Mad Craw, as these are fished more like swimming or bottom hopping a Blitz Lures LLC jig.

The Knuckle Ball is like a combination or a Blitz Jig, Rat-L-Trap and some sort of weird spinnerbait without a blade. To mean there is no set classification for this one. More like one of these gadget things, with the difference being that it works. At least with the right trailer.

I’ll give you further ideas for trailers in the Dan’s Fish ‘N’ Tales® published in an upcoming issue of MidWest Outdoors Magazine & Television.

Until next time, get out on the water, and enjoy a great day of fishing.
