Zambia Lifting ‘Ban on Hunting’

DSC New LogoWhen Zambia announced it would reassess 19 concessions where hunting had been suspended for two years, some news outlets reported the country is lifting its “ban on hunting.” The fact is, hunting was never banned in Zambia. Safaris have been legally operating the entire time. Dallas Safari Club (DSC) applauds the possible expansion of hunting operations in Zambia. If previously closed areas are indeed re-opened, top outfitters will be offering hunts at the upcoming DSC convention and expo, Jan. 15-18. DSC will pass along details as they become available.
