Z-Man Launches Second Project Z: Breaking Down the Bite (Video)

Zman Logo NewBuilt around one of the core ideas in Z-Man’s tag line – the “science” of fishing – the third season of the company’s groundbreaking Project Z video series utilizes a combination of live video and on screen graphics to break down the intricate details of an individual fish catch.  Each Project Z: Breaking Down the Bite video delves into the thought process of one of Z-Man’s tour-level pros to examine the elements and technical details that dovetail to help that angler successfully land a trophy bass, including locating a target area, bait selection, presentation, and technique.

Debuting today, the second webisode in the four video series follows Bassmaster Elite pro David Walker as he plies a vegetation-laden lake in Florida during early spring and illustrates exactly how he uses visible cues and electronics to identify feeding areas to ‘break down the bite.’  Armed with Z-Man’s new Project Z™ Swim Jig paired with a 10X Tough ElaZtech® DieZel MinnowZ™ trailer, Walker demonstrates his technique for plying grasslines, reacting to a strike for a solid hookset, and wrestling a solid fish away from cover and boatside.
The educational content, technical details, action footage, and on screen graphics and animations make the Project Z: Breaking Down the Bite video series compelling content that will engage and educate anglers of all skill levels.  We at Z-Man welcome and appreciate you highlighting and sharing the launch of this video via your digital media channels using the links below.

The third and fourth videos in the four-part Project Z: Breaking Down the Bite series will air on April 6 and April 20 respectively.

About Project ZAn original web-based video series, Z-Man launched Project Z in 2014 to provide anglers with a glimpse inside the minds of the company’s world class pro staff as they respond and adjust to changing fishing conditions using Z-Man’s tournament proven ElaZtech® soft plastics and ChatterBait® bladed jigs.

In the inaugural season of Project Z, Z-Man Pros Luke Clausen, David Walker and Stephen Browning competed against each other on Lake Guntersville, the site of the 2014 Bassmaster Classic, just months before that event.
In Project Z Season Two: The Battles at Bienville, Team Z-Man headed to Florida’s famed big bass factory Bienville Plantation, where they faced off against one another to complete a series of challenges, all with no pre-fishing opportunities and limited tackle.
The newly launched third season of the series – Project Z: Breaking Down the Bite – takes the concept of delving into the angler’s thought process a step further and focuses on the many elements and technical details that are part of an individual fish catch.
