Your NRA-ILA Daily Alert 9-7-2016California: Palm Springs City Council to Consider Anti-Gun Firearms Ordinance on Tomorrow, September 7th – On September 7th, the Palm Springs City Council will consider a proposed firearms ordinance that will impact all firearm owners within the City of Palm Springs. The ordinance includes a mandatory duty to report the theft or loss of a firearm to the Palm Springs Police Department within 48 hours, a requirement that all firearms kept in any residence be stored in a locked container, and a prohibition against leaving a concealable firearm or any ammunition in an unattended vehicle unless stored in a locked container.
