But it didn’t stop her from denying Donald Trump’s claim that she wants to abolish the Second Amendment. Clinton accused Trump of making “outright fabrications, accusing me of something that is absolutely untrue.”

A woman and a male companion were travelling in a vehicle in Bellvue, Colo. when they got into an altercation. After the woman pulled the vehicle over and attempted to call 911, the man followed her and stabbed her. A passerby noticed the scene, retrieved a firearm and held the attacker at gunpoint until police could arrive.

Serving as host and executive producer for an anti-gun “news” documentary, Under the Gun, Couric held a focus group with members of a gun-rights group called the Virginia Citizens Defense League. She asked the attendees, “If there are no background checks for gun purchasers, how do you prevent felons or terrorists from walking into, say, a licensed gun dealer and purchasing a gun?” In reality the group had any number of immediate and thoughtful responses (whether you agree with them or not).

It is still possible to encounter “No Guns Allowed” signs around the area. You just won’t see them at any county-owned buildings. Lowndes County supervisors voted Tuesday to remove “No Guns Allowed” signs from county-owned buildings on the recommendation of Board Attorney Tim Hudson.
