Wild Forever Alliance

Wild Forever AllianceWild Forever began as a dream.  A dream to bring opportunity to life for all who love the outdoors.  A dream for every hunter to have the chance to experience a fully guided big game hunting adventure.  A dream to support hunters and wildlife by contributing a substantial portion of the income of Wild Forever toward wise wildlife stewardship and conservation initiatives.

Our Conservation and Stewardship Statement

Conservation and Stewardship do matter.  Wild Forever plans to contribute to conservation initiatives with sound stewardship as a major part of our program.

Conservation and good stewardship tend to go hand in hand, but are not necessarily the same thing.  Being the most frequently used term, conservation is more commonly understood.   The scope of good stewardship may be less often fully grasped.  We believe that a focus on becoming good stewards will strengthen our continued conservation efforts.

What exactly is stewardship?  A simple Webster’s definition is: “taking care of something that belongs to someone else”.  The Holman Bible Dictionary defines stewardship as: “utilizing and managing all resources God provides for the glory of God and the betterment of his creation”.   A good steward does not take ownership of wildlife, but cooperates in the management of wildlife to the betterment of both wildlife and others. One of our goals through Wild Forever Alliance is to help people and organizations understand what true stewardship is all about.

One of the greatest stories in the history of conservation is the North American Wildlife Conservation Model One of the most successful conservation models in the world. Originating in the 1860’s when sportsmen began to organize and advocate for the preservation of wilderness areas and wildlife. Based on 2 principles – fish and wildlife are for the non-commercial use of citizens, and should be managed such that they are available at optimum population levels forever., initiated over 100+ years ago by men like President Teddy Roosevelt and George Bird Grinnell.  These men knew what true stewardship is.  Over time we seem to have lost that vision and its’ meaning.

Our dream is to promote a rediscovery of good stewardship, get back to basics and REALLY do something spectacular for wildlife.

Consider for a moment the difference between “Ownership and Success” and “Significance and Greatness”.  Our desire in being good stewards is to make a significant difference in the lives of fellow hunters and huntresses, as well as the wildlife dear to us all.

Our goal here at Wild Forever Alliance is to move to a higher level of Significance and Greatness!  Only then will we leave a truly lasting legacy for the generations to follow.
“We make a living by what we get,” – That’s Success!  “We make a life by what we give.” – That’s Significance!
– Sir Winston Churchill
