Burris Optics Revolutionizes Crossbow Hunting with Oracle X

Ten years ago Burris Optics revolutionized riflescopes with the Eliminator rangefinding, ballistic compensating riflescope. Last year they changed the traditional bow hunting game with the introduction of the Burris Oracle rangefinding bow sight. This year they are continuing their legacy of innovation and leading the industry with the introduction of the Oracle X, the first rangefinding crossbow scope!

“One of the major limitations for bow hunters is judging target distance, trajectory and guessing point of impact with distances between sight pins,” said Todd Fulton, national sales manager. “Just as the original Oracle bow sight changed traditional bow hunting by eliminating those variables, the Oracle X solves those issues for crossbow hunters. We are seeing an increase in crossbow hunting and know we can use our experience with rangefinding technology to help crossbow hunters tag out more often.”

The Oracle X is a 2-7x variable zoom scope that features a built-in laser rangefinder. After ranging your target with the wireless remote or the button on top the scope the Oracle X provides the exact distance to your target (out to 200 yards) and instantly provides an exact aiming point for your crossbow and bolt set up. An integrated inclinometer factors in the angle of the shot for step angles and shots commonly encountered in treestand hunting. The Oracle X is lightweight and robust enough to withstand any weather condition (waterproof, shockproof, fogproof) and Burris back this optic with their Forever Warranty!

Easy-to-reach buttons on top of the optic provide access to the intuitive menu for set up and programming. The Oracle X can be programmed for two different bolt set ups for added versatility. Auto brightness and manual override allows you to easily fine tune the display brightness. An integrated bubble level ensure accuracy at longer distances. The optic is powered by the ubiquitous CR123 battery and will last for 3,000+ power cycles. An integrated mount provides quick attachment to picatinny or weaver-style rails.
