Washington Considers Following Other States with NRA License Plates

Members of the Washington State House of Representatives are seeking to pass a bill that would create a National Rifle Association special license plate.  The bill, which has both Democrat and Republican support, would allow the state to issue license plates with the NRA logo on them.  Rep. Dean Takko, the prime sponsor of House Bill 2202, said money made from NRA plates would go to the state’s hunter safety program. Some states, such as Tennessee and Mississippi, offer NRA plates, while Texas offers a Texas State Rifle Association (TSRA) plate.  “As a hunter out in the woods, I want people to be safe,” said Takko, an NRA member for more than 20 years.  More Here…
