Update To The Whooping Crane Killed In Texas

Sightings of Whooping Cranes in KentuckyConservation organizations dedicated to the recovery of the last wild flock of Whooping Cranes in North America and to their Texas home, support the investigation and prosecution of the person(s) responsible for this crane’s death. The International Crane Foundation, Friends of Aransas and Matagorda Island, Friends of the Wild Whoopers, Whooping Crane Conservation Association, Audubon Texas, Aransas Bird and Nature Club, and San Antonio Bay Foundation have pledged a combined total of $24,000, bringing the total potential reward to $27,500.
