Report by the GrindTV:The firestorm over a Minnesota dentist hunting and killing Cecil the lion has continued unabated for days, and now musician Ted Nugent has added fuel to the flames with comments defending the actions of hunter Walter Palmer. Palmer and his hunting guides are said to have lured the beloved and iconic lion out of Zimbabwe’s Hwange National Park and onto private land by using an animal carcass tied to the bumper of a vehicle. Palmer shot Cecil with a crossbow, then stalked the lion for up to 40 hours before finishing it off with a rifle.
Nugent, a longtime hunting enthusiast and defender of the Second Amendment, was asked on his Facebook page what he thought about Cecil the lion and Walter Palmer.
