Read The Story: Growing up in the city I wasn’t too familiar with hunting. Now that I have a couple of hunts under my belt, I can really appreciate what it is like being away from the concrete jungle of the city and in nature without any distractions. I think this is why there is a soft spot in my heart for organizations like 2 Million Bullets, an inner city hunting and firearm awareness program.
I love that I have been able to experience these things at this point in my life, but I was lucky. I go on about how much of a city boy I am, but there is something about the tradition of hunting and the outdoors that breeds a level of self reliance and responsibility that I think my generation tends to over look.
