Rock River Arms, Inc., introduces the IRS Series, which represents further growth in RRA’s expanding line of high performance tactical, personal defense, competitive and hunting firearms. The IRS Series conveniently integrates low-profile folding sights, which can be used as a primary or back up sighting system.

This design allows the operator to quickly activate the sights when necessary or fold them in line with the Picatinny rail when not in use. The IRS Series features a new muzzle brake that is tuned and ported, using spiral technology. This creatively design muzzle significantly reduces muzzle climb and recoil, allowing the user to reacquire the target quickly. The IRS is equipped with a 16″ Fluted Chrome Moly barrel (18″ barrel with XL handguard) that delivers MOA accuracy. Rock River Arms’ new IRS is available with a CAR, MID, STD or XL handguard, providing full versatility on the range or in the field. The ventilated handguards dissipate heat and minimize weight.

The forged A4 upper receiver allows for mounting scopes, red dot sights or other optics. The IRS is standard with a RRA two-stage trigger and the RRA winter trigger guard accommodates hunting, winter, or competition gloves. The IRS is outfitted with an Operator CAR stock and Hogue grips for comfort and ergonomics. Chambered in 5.56 NATO, the IRS handles both for 5.56mm & .223 cal. ammunition. It includes one magazine, LPS-1 Weapon Wipe, a RRA hard case, an owner’s manual and a limited lifetime warranty.
