The 2015 edition of Renzetti’s Fly Fishing and Rod Building Fair will include some of the most legendary fly fishing and rod building celebrities in the world. They will be presenting programs related to the art of fly fishing and rod building. The fair is also aimed at raising awareness and funds for Florida programs of Casting for Recovery and Project Healing Waters. Casting for Recovery is a unique organization that uses fly fishing as a way to contribute to the rehabilitation of breast cancer patients through the joys of fly fishing.
Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc. is dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active military service personnel and disabled veterans through fly fishing and associated activities including education and outings.
The event kicks off on Friday, December 4, 2015 with a ladies fly Fishing School. Additionally, there will be a fly fishing school with Bob Clouser and Jon Cave, limited to 10 anglers. RSVPs are required and interested persons should call for pricing.
Friday will also have a fly tying/ fishing destinations presentation from 12:00 to 4:00. There will be fly tiers teaching a particular pattern or technique in a classroom setting.
In another room, there will be regional fly fishing guides presenting a PowerPoint presentation about fishing in a particular region for a specific species.
