Ready or Not, Here Comes the SHOT Show

National Shooting Sports FoundationONE WEEK AWAY . . . The 36th edition of the SHOT Show will take place Jan. 14-17 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas. More than 60,000 industry professionals are expected to attend. Owned and sponsored by NSSF, the SHOT Show is the industry’s most anticipated event of the year. The show provides a first look at new products and services used by target shooters, hunters, outdoorsmen and women and law enforcement professionals.   • NSSF TO UNVEIL TARGET SHOOTING ECONOMIC IMPACT REPORT . . . On Day 2 of the SHOT Show, Wednesday, Jan. 15, NSSF will announce its first-ever report on the economic impact of target shooting to the nation’s economy. The report looks at spending by target shooters at the state and national levels and how that spending supports businesses and jobs. The NSSF “Target Shooting in America” report complements the “Hunting in America” report released earlier this year by NSSF and the Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies. Credentialed media are invited to join NSSF President and CEO Steve Sanetti, NSSF Director of Industry Research and Analysis Jim Curcuruto and Rob Southwick of Southwick Associates at 10 a.m., Jan. 15, in the press conference room (3401).
