QDMA Launches New Deer Steward Options: Online and In-Person Modules

Deer hunters can take their knowledge of whitetail behavior and habitat management to the next level with new training options recently added to QDMA’s popular Deer Steward program. Eight new online Modules and two in-person Modules being held this summer allow hunters to choose specific areas of knowledge where they’d like to sharpen their skills as a deer hunter.

“QDMA wants you and your neighbors to experience better deer hunting,” said Matt Ross, QDMA’s Assistant Director of Conservation. “We do that by consistently providing hunters everywhere with the latest information on forage and cover, deer senses and behaviors, expert hunting approaches, and more. These new Module options make that easier and more convenient for everyone.”

New Online Modules
Deer Steward Modules take subjects covered in the popular Deer Steward classes and delve into those specific topics in greater detail. This ensures greater understanding of topics that can be applied by anyone interested in deer hunting and management. Brand new online Modules offer eight subject areas, including deer antlers, aging deer, deer home range and movement patterns, whitetail fawns, food plots, Quality Deer Management, whitetail biology, and the whitetail rut.

Online Modules include an average of 10 sub-topics and 20 pages of reading. Lessons include both reading material and videos. You can purchase a web-based Module for $19.95 or packages of multiple classes at a reduced rate. Access to all eight Modules costs $99.95, a savings of $60 over purchasing access separately.
