D & B Ice Adventures is based out of Barre, Vermont and composed of two fishing fanatics: Dylan Smith and Robert Booth. With an equal drive time to the Connecticut River and Lake Champlain, the hardest decision is whether they want to catch giant bluegill on the river or huge pumpkinseed on the lake with crappie in the mix at both. These decisions have been logged through their blog (http://dbiceadventures.wordpress.com/) which gives details on what they have to endure to be successful.
The blog began to keep friends and family up to date with the successes and failures they face while trying to stay on a quality panfish bite throughout the state. Since they began writing the blog in January 2012, they have had numerous requests for it’s continuation (regardless of title) throughout the summer months and to incorporate other species. Through their writing, they have targeted fishermen across the United States but focused mainly on the Northeast, to promote techniques and tactics that have proven successful.
Dylan and Bobby work closely with Clam Pro, James Vladyka of Fish Hounds Outdoors and Scott Blair, both of Vermont Sportsman Hardwater Tournament. This tournament series is helping grow competitive panfishing throughout Vermont, New York, and much of New England.
