With this new Mauser M98 Magnum, Mauser writes yet another chapter in the history of the legendary original Mauser 98 bolt action system. The Mauser M98 Magnum performance characteristics include a newly designed, ergonomically improved, horizontal 3-position safety, acting directly on the firing pin. Pillar beddings, in addition to double recoil lugs, mean system and stock are mounted absolutely free of any tension. Renowned for its stability, the long extractor for provides for controlled feeding.
Additional benefits include a Double Square Bridge system which allows for swing off scope mounts; windage and elevation adjustable 2 leaf Express sight with improved sight picture; and stylish, ergonomic big game stock with classic cheekpiece. Finely crafted checkering covers the entire fore-end and pistol grip, with steel cap engraved with the Mauser emblem, for even better grip when shooting big calibers.
