NASGW Members Donate to the NRA Life of Duty Program

Several National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers (NASGW) members recently participated in a program supporting the NRA Life of Duty program that serves and supports individuals who work to protect and defend the safety of the American people. A total of $37,000 was raised to provide funds for a special NRA membership category for US military personnel. This new NRA program helps tell the stories of American heroes via its website (www.nralifeofduty.tv) and provides the opportunity for members to sponsor a one-year NRA membership for a uniformed American Patriot.

Companies participating in the campaign included:

  • Gunarama Wholesale Inc. (Spokane, Wash.)
  • L.M. Burney Distributors (Waco, Texas)
  • Lipsey’s (Baton Rouge, La.)
  • W L Baumler Co. (Lorain, Ohio)
  • Camfour Inc. (Westfield, MA)
  • Ellett Brothers (Chapin, S.C.)
  • Jerry’s Sports Center (Jenkins Township, PA)
  • RSR Group Inc. (Winter Park, FL)

“This was an opportunity for our members to participate in a fantastic program that will benefit our active military,” stated Jack Baumler, NASGW Chairman of the Board.
