MYSTERY RANCH Partners with BHA and MWA on the “5% for 50” Conservation Effort

Mystery Ranch logoMYSTERY RANCH, an industry-leading pack company with multiple product lines focused on function, comfort, quality and durability, is pleased to announce its newfound conversation connection with Backcountry Hunters and Anglers (BHA) and Montana Wild Association (MWA). In an effort to contribute to the conservation work of BHA and MWA, MYSTERY RANCH will be giving 5% of its sales of their Wilderness series packs to these conservations groups in support of the 1964 Wilderness Act’s 50th anniversary. MYSTERY RANCH’s commitment to conservation and the preservation of our wilderness and public land access is a staple within the company and will be for the entirety of its existence. Their “5% for 50” commitment assures their conservation contribution for years to come.

MYSTERY RANCH and both conservations groups have always seen eye to eye regarding genuine wilderness. When MYSTERY RANCH invests in something, they do it with longevity in mind. Whether it’s the importance of protecting and preserving wild places as harbors of healthy habitat, or the inherent fairness for access to our public lands – “MR” feels it at its core. As hunters who are willing to earn an experience, regardless of income or social status, they’re staunch supporters of keeping public lands public.

Backcountry Hunters & Anglers is a group that seeks to ensure North America’s outdoor heritage of hunting and fishing in a natural setting, through education and work on behalf of wild public lands and waters. BHA celebrates the great American tradition of testing your personal boundaries amid the solitude of the wilds. BHA members understand the urgent need to speak up for those irreplaceable places and experiences for future generations.

Montana Wilderness Association’s mission is to work with communities to protect Montana’s wilderness heritage and outdoor traditions, now and for future generations. For more than 50 years, MWA’s commitment to grassroots conservation has proved instrumental in the passage of the 1964 Wilderness Act and in the designation of all 15 wilderness areas in MT.

One of our fundamental responsibilities, as hunters, is to pass on fair chase ethics to the next generation. While hunter education generally begins in the classroom, some of the most important lessons can only be taught in the field. So ask yourself, who’s been your mentor and who are you mentoring? Teaching respect, humility, safety and the tenants of good stewardship are foundational to who we are as hunters. At MYSTERY RANCH “Completing the Circle” is what hunting, fishing and the outdoors is all about.
