Montana Wildlife Workers Search for Grizzly That Killed 70 Sheep “For Fun”

State and federal wildlife workers in Montana are trying to find a female grizzly bear responsible for killing 70 sheep at three ranches in the last two weeks.

“This is very serious,” Mike Hoggan of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Wildlife Services said. “This is the worst thing I’ve ever seen. It’s doing this for fun.”

Wildlife department staffers hope to locate the grizzly using a transmitter attached to her 32-pound cub’s ear. The cub was captured and released June 10 after its mother killed 10 sheep.  More here…
