Kicking off National Fishing & Boating Week

Kicking off National Fishing & Boating Week

Next week, millions of Americans will head out on the water for their first trip of the season. We mark this occasion with National Fishing and Boating Week (NFBW) – a celebration of all things fishing and boating, complete with promotions, events, and plenty of time catching fish and making waves.

We will kick off the week in New York City, where the Take Me Fishing pop-up fishing experience, Off the Hook, will be at Pier 84 in Hudson River Park. Games, snacks and of course, fishing will energize consumers to try their hand at fishing. Take Me Fishing spokesperson, Olympic medalist and ESPN analyst Jessica Mendoza was at our first Off the Hook event in Minnesota and will be sharing her personal story of her family’s first fishing trip on national media outlets. Local social media influencers will also be utilized to promote the joys of fishing and boating during NFBW and beyond.

Many stakeholders are already getting involved, promoting NFBW, helping us get more anglers and boaters on the water and get closer to our 60 in 60 goal. There’s still plenty of room on the water! Join us today by using the sharable images, stock photos, and more in the toolkits below.
