The 2013 Summer TOKS Contest is now officially over and once again we all got to see some impressive common/mirror carp caught from anglers from all over the world!! The number of captures submitted were coming in large volumes which amass a total combined weight of 3945.01 lbs / 1,793.47 kgs. There was an impressive number of fish landed by anglers living in Australia, Canada, Croatia, France, Czech Republic, South Africa and the United States. The anglers producing enough big fish to reign supreme within their region were Tom Kutschy, Pieter Bezuidenhout and Mario Franjkovic.
The angler producing an abundance of large fish weighing a combined total of 182.08 lbs / 82.95 kgs and crowned World Big Four Winner is Mario Franjkovic of Croatia. This is not the first time Mario has won the World Big Four title, and with his proven track record looks like it may not be the last. As usual, Mario keeps producing battleship-like fish that make you say “WOW!”.
