I did my initial firing of the new Browning Buck Mark Practical Plus

There was a cross wind over over 30 mph, which made it extremely difficult to hit the target well enough to adjust the sights, especially since there was no rest.

hit the target

I fired 10 rounds of CCI Mini-Mag to start on a rifle scope sight-in target. From there is was all Remington Thunderbolt. Once I hit the center I moved on to shooting at a sheet with three targets that had 2″ black centers. Again, it was firing low, so more adjustments needed to be made.

After getting the sights fairly well adjusted to hit the 2″ middle I fired a final 10 rounds at each, and fairly well covered the black centers, with a few dead center hits.

I’ll be having a video shortly, but didn’t get much done today, since I also went fishing.

If interested in today’s fishing report, where I took Pepper along, go to the Dan’s Fish ‘N’ Tales with Host/Writer Dan Galusha FB page.

Until next time, shoot safe and have a great day of plinking.
