Hoyt will accept Photos from March 13, 2014 – April 28, 2014, during which five finalists will be chosen. The top 5 finalist will be determined in Hoyt’s sole discretion regardless of the amount of likes or comments. The 5 Finalist will be re-posted May 1st on Hoyt’s Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts.
The winner will be determined by the image that gets the combined most likes (out of the 5) on Hoyt’s Facebook and Instagram as well as the most Retweets on Twitter during the period of: May 1 – May 8, 2014. Contest ends on May 8, 2014 at midnight MST.
Winner will be announced on May 9, 2014. Valid in the USA only and void where prohibited.
Hoyt owns the photos submitted and has the right to display the photos without any further remuneration to the individuals who submit the photos.
RULES:
ELIGIBILITY: Open only to permanent, legal U.S. residents who are physically residing in one (1) of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, and who are eighteen (18)years of age or older as of the start of the applicable Giveaway Period. Officers, directors, and employees of contest entities (as defined below), members of these persons’ immediate families (spouses and/or parents, children, and siblings, and their spouses, regardless of where they reside), and/or persons living in the same households as these persons (whether or not related thereto) are not eligible to enter or win the contest. contest entities, as referenced herein, shall include Hoyt Archery, 593 North Wright Brothers Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84116 (“Sponsor”), and its parent, subsidiary, and affiliate companies, and its administrative, advertising, and promotion agencies, and any other entity involved in the development, administration, promotion, or implementation of the Contest.
TO ENTER: To enter, submit a photo of your mother, grandmother or mother of your children in the outdoors bowhunting. Images must be submitted on Instagram or Twitter using #mymombowhunts Photos will not be accepted on Facebook. All Entries become the property of Hoyt Archery and will not be acknowledged. Instagram, Twitter and Facebook are not responsible for the administration of the contest and are not involved with the contest in any way. By providing images, you are providing your information to Hoyt Archery, not to Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. You may enter as many times as you want during the contest. Entries generated by a script, macro, or other automated means will be disqualified. Entries that are incomplete, garbled, corrupted, or unintelligible for any reason, including, but not limited to, computer or network malfunction or congestion, are void and will not be accepted. In case of a dispute over the identity of an entrant, the authorized account holder of the Instagram or Twitter account used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the person who registered the Instagram or Twitter account used to enter. Entry constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use any entrant’s name, city, state, likeness, image, and/or voice for purposes of advertising, promotion, and publicity in any and all media now or hereafter known, throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification, permission, or approval.
UNACCEPTABLE MATERIAL: Hoyt will not accept any images that are pornographic in nature or depict animal cruelty. Hoyt upholds the standard of ethical hunting and will not condone any type of torture or unethical hunting practices. Images that show illegal actions or a disregard for local laws will also be disqualified.
WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: Top five finalists will be notified by comment on Instagram and Twitter no later than April 30, 2014. Upon notification, finalists will need to email the chosen photo to Hoyt Archery. Finalists will need to respond within 48 hours of the notification, otherwise Hoyt reserves the right to disqualify participant and choose an alternative finalist. The photos will then be re-posted on Hoyt’s Instagram (@hoytbowhunting), Twitter (@HOYTARCHERYinc) and Facebook (www.facebook.com/HoytBowhunting) on May 1, 2014. The winner will be chosen by having the most combined likes on Facebook and Instagram as well as retweets on Twitter. Contest ends on May 8, 2014 at midnight MDT. Winner will be announced on May 9, 2014 on Hoyt’s Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts. Winner will be personally notified via Hoyt and will need to respond within 48 hours. Potential winner may be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, release of liability, and, except where prohibited, publicity release (collectively, “Contest Documents”) within forty-eight (48) hours of such notification. Noncompliance within this time period may result in disqualification, and, at Sponsor’s sole discretion an alternate potential Winner may be selected from the remaining eligible Entries. If potential Winner cannot be reached, is found to be ineligible, cannot or does not comply with these Official Rules, or if Prize or Prize notification is returned as undeliverable, potential Winner will be disqualified and time permitting, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, an alternate potential Winner may be selected from the remaining eligible Entries. Limit one (1) Prize per family or household.
PRIZE: The finalist is entitled to a 2014 Hoyt Vicxen Edition Carbon Spyder bow equipped with FUSE Accessories and a dozen Easton Arrows. Draw length and draw weight configuration will be specified by the winner. 2nd through 5th place finalists will receive a prize package from one of the following contest sponsors: Under Armour, Easton, Realtree and Archer’s Choice. All details of each Prize will be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion Prize cannot be transferred by Winner or redeemed for cash and is valid only for the items detailed above, with no substitution of Prize by Winner. Gift card prizes may be subject to additional terms and conditions of the provider.
ADDITIONAL TERMS: Sponsor reserves the right to permanently disqualify from any promotion any person they believe has intentionally violated these Official Rules. Any attempt to deliberately damage the Contest or the operation thereof is unlawful and subject to legal action by Sponsor, who may seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. The failure of Sponsor to comply with any provision of these Official Rules due to an act of God, hurricane, war, fire, riot, earthquake, terrorism, act of public enemies, actions of governmental authorities outside of the control of sponsor (excepting compliance with applicable codes and regulations), or other “force majeure” event will not be considered a breach of these official rules. Hoyt Archery assumes no responsibility for any injury or damage to entrants’ or to any other person’s computer or phone relating to or resulting from entering or downloading materials or software in connection with the contest. Hoyt Archery is not responsible for telecommunications, network, electronic, technical, or computer failures of any kind; for inaccurate transcription of entry information; for errors in any promotional or marketing materials or in these official rules; for any human or electronic error; or for entries that are stolen, misdirected, garbled, delayed, lost, late, damaged, or returned. Hoyt Archery reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the contest or any element thereof (including, without limitation, these official rules) without notice in any manner and for any reason (including, without limitation, in the event of any unanticipated occurrence that is not fully addressed in these official rules). In the event of cancellation, modification, or suspension, sponsor reserves the right to select a winner in a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to the time of the event warranting such cancellation, modification, or suspension. Notice of such cancellation, modification, or suspension will be posted on Hoyt’s Facebook page. Sponsor may prohibit any entrant or potential entrant from participating in the contest, if such entrant or potential entrant shows a disregard for these official rules; acts with an intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other entrant, sponsor, or sponsor’s agents or representatives; or behaves in any other disruptive manner (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion). Sponsor reserves the right to modify these rules for clarification purposes without materially affecting the terms and conditions of the contest.
DISPUTES: The Sweepstakes is governed by, and will be construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Utah, and the forum and venue for any dispute shall be in Salt Lake City, Utah. Any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with the contest, or any prize awarded, will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.
