FL Trophy Catch Team Visits Phoenix Boats

Trophy Catch logoFlorida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission representatives recently visited the Phoenix factory in Tennessee to announce the lucky five finalists for the TrophyCatch registrant’s giveaway. All five anglers will receive a nice prize. One will be the recipient of the Phoenix 619 Pro bass boat and trailer, which is powered by a 200 Pro XS Mercury outboard. Every angler that signed up at www.TrophyCatchFlorida during the first year (Oct. 1, 2012 to Sep. 30, 2013) of TrophyCatch was eligible for the Phoenix Bass Boat giveaway.

Tune in Tuesday morning, Nov. 5, around 8:30 A.M., when the YouTube video announcing the five finalists will be posted at www.YouTube.com/TrophyCatchFlorida and on FaceBook at www.FaceBook.com/TrophyCatchFlorida.

Bob Williams of Alloway, N.J., caught a 13-pound, 14-ounce largemouth on Rodman Reservoir on Feb. 18, 2012, and became our first certified Hall-of-Fame club entrant. He had the largest verified bass of the year, so will claim the statewide grand prize of the TrophyCatch ring, sponsored by the American Outdoors Fund.

Experience Kissimmee has identified the winner of their $10,000 prize for the biggest bass from Osceola County during TrophyCatch’s first year. Watch our social media sites for an announcement of when they will make the award presentation.

Anglers who are already registered, will automatically be in the drawing for another PhoenixPro bass boat in year two! Better still, Phoenix announced that every fish that is verified in TrophyCatch during the second year will put the lucky angler’s name in the drawing for 10 additional chances. So help us encourage Florida’s anglers to register, pack a scale and camera, and preferably something to measure length with, and go fishing!

Good luck and good fishing,

The TrophyCatch Team
