Stay mobile when targeting perch through iceYellow perch on Saginaw Bay . Most anglers love to target yellow perch all year since they’re delicious and often easy to catch! When fishing for them during the winter months it’s important to keep a few tips in mind: Remember that in the middle of winter perch typically school together and head to deeper water. It won’t be until the ice disperses that they’ll head for shallower depths. Don’t sit still when perch are lingering in deeper water and be prepared to drill LOTS of holes to find them.
