Pepper and I were able to get out and do a little fishing in the high wind. The weather was warm, water has warmed, but the fishing was somewhat cold until TTI-Blakemore Casey’s Runner Head with a BFishn Tackle Oyster Ribb Finn, and a dose of Kick’n Bass Fish Attractants Java warmed things up.
The Runner had to be retrieved just fast enough to stay at the tops of weeds. Too slow, and no hits, too fast and no hits. It had to be just right.
A pump retrieve did not to the trick today, nor did any of the other lures that I’ve been using.
