Fish With G-Man

Fish With G-ManBassmaster Elite Series pro Gerald Swindle is known among fellow pros and fishing enthusiasts as a comedic genius. Fans at each of the eight Elite Series stops of the season await his appearance on stage, eager to watch his daily weigh-in to hear his humorous remarks after a day on the water.  Now B.A.S.S. offers one fan a front row seat in the Alabama pro’s boat through the “Fish With G-Man” sweepstakes.

“You never know what’s going to happen when you go out on the water, but one thing I do know is that the winner of this contest is in for a good time,” Swindle said.

A lucky fan will have the opportunity to spend a day fishing with Swindle at the conclusion of the sweepstakes currently underway on Bassmaster.com. The winner should prepare to be entertained, and the 2004 Toyota Bassmaster Angler of the Year will have helpful suggestions, too. The Bassmaster fan on Swindle’s boat will have ample opportunity to learn “junk fishing” techniques, one of Swindle’s specialties on a fishery when the going is tough.

“If you’re ready for some Junk Fishing 101, class will be in session on this trip,” Swindle said. “We’ll throw everything at those bass until we catch ’em.”

Along with the education and entertainment, the prize includes a fishing trip with Swindle, a two-night hotel stay, round-trip airfare, a rental car and $500 cash. In a prize package valued at $10,000, the winner also will receive nearly $6,000 in prizes, including a Humminbird 898i HD SI, a GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition, nearly $2,000 in Swindle’s favorite gear, a set of four ATX wheels from Wheel Pros and a custom Simms jacket from Mercury Marine.

According to B.A.S.S. Membership Director Mitch Frank, “Gerald is a 13-time Bassmaster Classic qualifier and an impressive talent at bass fishing’s highest level. The G-Man Sweepstakes gives a chance for someone to enjoy a day on the water with a professional of that caliber. That will be a great experience.”

The contest runs through Sept. 19, and the winner will be selected on Sept. 30. To enter, click here.
