Fall Fishing is Heating Up!

Pete Gluszek Guide ServiceFall fishing is finally here! I love this time of year. The dog days of summer are behind us and the fishing is starting to heat up. The Delaware River and Chesapeake Bay are two of my favorite places to fish this time of year. The leaves will be changing soon and the bass start to gang up as the fall advances. I’m already seeing a ton of bait collecting on both places and an unusual amount of Striped Bass have started to appear on the Delaware River. The pictures are from trips that took place last September/October on the Delaware and Chesapeake. The Striper pictures are from last week on the Delaware.

Crankbaits and jigs really thrive in the fall. Topwater action can be outstanding as well. The fall patterns can be some of the most exciting fishing of the year as the grass starts to die off and force the bait fish out in the open. Power fishing with crankbaits, topwaters and jigs are a great ways to catch some of the biggest fish of the year. – Gonna be a great fall season!

Call or email to reserve a date and let’s get out and have some fun this fall.

Tournament trails

Competed in the Bassmaster Northern Opens this year. Had a fun season this year with two money finishes out of the three events. The highlight of this year was a 24th place finish at Lake St. Clair catching giant smallmouth. Below is a link to a facebook video of my son Jake and I with the Northern Open wrap up on Lake St. Claire.
