Davidson’s latest exclusive firearm has been brought about through their successful partnership with Beretta-USA. The U22 Neos, Beretta’s iconic rimfire pistol chambered in .22LR, was used as the basis for this newest of a long line of Davidson’s exclusives. Designed and manufactured in the USA, the U22 Neos is a single-action .22LR caliber semi-automatic pistol.
Sporting an anodized purple finish on the top rail, and stylish purple inserts in the black fiberglass-reinforced technopolymer grip, the U22 Purple Neos has a 4.5″ barrel, and an overall length of 8.8″. The pistol sports an ambidextrous manual safety, adjustable sights and the accessory rail accepts Weaver style rings for adding the user’s choice of optics. Weighing in at 31.7 ounces unloaded, the magazine capacity is 10 rounds. Two magazines are included with each pistol.
The lines of the Neos bear the unmistakable flavor of renown Italian designer Giugiaro. The result is a sleek and ergonomic rimfire pistol that feels as good in the hands as it pleases the eyes.
