Common sense in California

Keep America FishingThe State Senate Appropriations Committee is getting ready to vote on a measure that would be a much-needed shot in the arm for fishing in California. Senate Bill 345, the California Sportfishing Stimulus Act of 2015, would make fishing licenses valid for a full 12 months from the date of purchase. Currently, licenses expire on December 31 no matter when they were purchased.

This bill has bipartisan support in the Senate and last month, it passed through the Natural Resources and Water Committee with a unanimous vote. Now it’s the Senate Appropriations Committee’s turn before going to the full Senate.

It only takes a minute to send a message to the Appropriations Committee telling them to support this common sense legislation.  Make your voice heard today.
