  • NSSF has joined with 28 hunting and conservation advocacy groups to urge the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources to confirm David Bernhardt as the next Deputy Secretary of the Department of the Interior.
  • U.S. Sen. Luther Strange (R-Ala.) has become the 15th cosponsor of S. 59, the Hearing Protection Act of 2017. The House of Representatives version, H.R. 367, has 141 cosponsors.
  • Oregon Gov. Kate Brown has signed House Bill 2566 into law, expanding mentored hunting opportunities for those between the ages of nine and 16.
