Over the last year, one of MTC’s Founders and Chief Fashion Designer was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. After hearing the news, the first place she went was online to cancer.org. Becoming quickly educated on the disease, She felt it was a gift to be able to download information on types, stages, sizes, and possible treatments. This allowed her to hold intelligent conversations and ask important questions of the doctors. The knowledge she gained helped her make a comfortable decision on treatment and surgery that was right for her.
Her treatments and surgery have all gone well and she is Cancer free today.
