Boston Rod Building Class Filling Up

Boston Rod Building Class Filling UpHere’s a secret; you can build a quality custom fishing rod better than many manufactured rods you’ll find in a tackle or big box outdoors store. And you can catch more fish with it because many rod manufacturers skip the important step of finding the rod’s spine.  Mud Hole Rod Building & Tackle Crafting Corp. is offering its popular rod building class to anglers in the Boston region and it’s already quickly filling up and expected to be sold out.

The Boston dates are May 10 – 11.

Mud Hole’s Todd Vivian, a veteran instructor in the now five-year program said, “We’ve expanded but with the same personal attention and with an extra instructor or two,” “The one-and-half day classes begin on Saturdays starting at 9 a.m. and last to 7 p.m.  Sunday classes offer more instruction and the completion of the rod from 9 a.m. till noon.”

Tuition for the class is $149. Students come away with a quality 6’ 6” fishing rod they can use for a lifetime.

Through 2014 Mud Hole also offers classes in cities and dates which include:

Orlando, Fla.                    June 7-8

Savannah, Ga.                 Aug. 16-17
