Don Banning and I headed to the water today, and thought we might have it fairly tough. Another angler said they had fished all morning and caught two crappie. Other anglers were also having a struggle.
Within a couple of casts I had my first crappie using a Natural Forage Baits T-Shad, with, what else, the finger jigging technique and a BFishn Tackle 3/32 oz H20 Precision jig head.
I caught several bass and crappie, mainly on the T-Shad, but also, for bass, the R4 finesse worm on a Road Runner Lures No Bling head worked with a slow hopping and lift/fall retrieve.
