This afternoon I did a short bit of shooting with the H&N Medium and Magnum Sniper pellets, and have come to the conclusion that the best gun that I have for shooting these two models is the cheapest rifle in my collection, but one of the most accurate. It is Umarex USA, Inc.’s NXG multi-pump with a Axeon Optics red dot scope. Both weights of pellets hit within the same two inch middle.
As an offset to the NXG I tried the RWS Diana model 34, thinking it would do just as well. Nope – the heavier magnum went way low.
These pellets shoot equally in the NXG whether it is pumped 4 times or 10. I tried it at 4, 5, 7 and maximum of 10, and they all worked.
Until next time, shoot safe and have a great day of plinking. #umarexusanxgmultipumpriflewithaxeonreddotscope
Doc Mac Kay and Linda Jordan of [ P. O. P. ] P L I N K I N G OVER PAPER mentioned the H&N Magnum Sniper pellets being a good possibility for PCP guns. So I decided to test out the 177 and 22 Magnum Sniper pellets in my American Tactical Nova Freedom (177) and Liberty (22) in this Shoot ‘N’ Plink™ video.
This is another Shoot ‘N’ Plink™ video inspired by Doc Mac Kay‘s interest in H&N Sniper pellets. On this time around I’m using an ATI/Nova AT-97 Sniper break barrel rifle to do some target shooting and plinking. For those of you who don’t know Doc, he is an airgun enthusiast and the founder of the Plinking Over Paper Facebook group. #americantacticalnovaat97sniperrifle #sniper177pellets
This video was filmed after a person asked about the accuracy of the Umarex USA, Inc. NXG mult-pump at different amounts of pumps. I fired pellets and BBs at 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 pumps.
