A Little Gun Rap From Dan (Multi-Post) – Part 45

After the snow was cleaned off, and a little bit of warming took place – yeah right – I decided to try out the Umarex USA, Inc. Browning Buck Mark pellet gun with the real Browning Buck Mark Reflex Sight that I had used on my powder burning Buck Mark. After a few rounds, and a couple of tweaks to the elevation, the gun drilled out the center firing at 7 and 10 meters. Using the Champion glasses that Jim Nordquist of the Rock Island Optometric Center set up for me with a “computer” prescription, I sighted in the reflex at around 8 meters, which seemed to work for both the 7 and 10 meter mark with a very slight variation of aiming directly at the center for the 7 line, and slightly towards the bottom of the 2″ bullseye for the 10 meter line.

Until next time, shoot safe and have a great day of plinking.
