Many opt for the convenience of an enclosed head with holding tank, freshwater deck shower and generator. Others require the console to be shortened for smaller helmsmen. Custom hard and soft tops, eisenglass enclosures, bolstered seating, padded sundecks, and swim platforms and ladders are just some of the options available that add to the boats’ family-friendly appeal.
Ocean Master skiffs are ideal for boating with children and pets. The 27′ and 29’6″ flaring V-hulls provide a smooth, comfortable, dry ride. High gunnels provide security, especially with bow rails added. A center console layout allows safe and visible access to the entire boat, while high-quality fit and finish ensure there are no sharp edges on the vessel. The greatest safety feature, however, is the boat itself.
Owners have peace of mind knowing their Ocean Master is built to take on the most grueling conditions. Each is overbuilt using substantial full-height stringers glassed into the 20-layer laminated hull. The innerliner deck is permanently fused to the bottom. This construction is so strong and stable that they are often used as police boats. Few vessels impart as much confidence as an Ocean Master.
Both the Ocean Skiff 27 and 296 are trailerable with an 8′ 6″ beam. They’re economical to own and operate and can be rigged with a single outboard for enhanced fuel economy.
