I began fishing at the age of 3 and 32 years later I am very passionate about all forms of fishing. My primary focus nowadays is the Common Carp throughout the Northeast but I have an extensive background in bass, trout, catfish and pike fishing. For myself I was introduced to carp fishing with my father. He would have so much fun carp fishing compared to the other species we went for mainly for the raw power and fight the carp produces and most of all since they are a fresh water fish they can be found anywhere. After his passing I was bass fishing and saw a big fish roll about 50 yards out and somehow it felt like a sign that maybe I should give carp fishing a try to see why he enjoyed it so much. After landing my first one I was hooked immediately and haven’t looked back.
 
I am a catch and release angler like all of the other species I fish for. I enjoy the sporting side of fishing and the outdoors. I am a Consultant, Prostaff and Writer for various companies which will be mentioned below along with writing for magazines to show anglers techniques for catching carp. I also do video work to give a step by step approach into the sport and also have done videos for the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission to show anglers how to fish for carp.
