Meet Mike Frisch, Our Newest Contributor

Mike Frisch is a veteran western Minnesota fishing guide and has an impressive resume’ as a tournament angler with wins and high finishes in walleye and bass tournaments across the Midwest.  Frisch is also a co-founder and instructor for the Cabela’s School of Fish, the Midwest’s leader in fishing education.   Mike co-hosts the popular Fishing the Midwest TV series, one of the longest-running, highest-rated regional fishing television shows.  To learn more about Fishing the Midwest, School of Fish, and the Fishin’ With Frisch guide service, visit www.fishingthemidwest.com.

Bob Jensen and Mike Frisch are two of the Midwest’s most respected fishing educators.  

For over 2 decades, Bob Jensen produced the Fishing the Midwest with Bob Jensen TV series , one of the Midwest’s longest-running and highest-rated television fishing shows.  In addition, Bob is a highly regarded fishing feature writer and noted fishing seminar presenter.  

In 2017, Jensen was inducted to the Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame!

Mike Frisch is a veteran western Minnesota fishing guide and, has an impressive resume’ as a tournament angler with wins and high finishes in walleye and bass tournaments across the Midwest.  In 2013, Frisch helped launch School of Fish, one of the country’s leading fishing education programs.  

Bob and Mike worked together for 15-years on the highly respected Fishing the Midwest fishing team, one of the Midwest’s most productive fishing promotional teams.

In 2014, Mike joined Bob in producing the Fishing the Midwest television series.  Additionally, they continue  to  write “how to” fishing columns and features that appear in/on over 50 general circulation newspapers,  outdoor publications, and electronic media outlets.

Fishing the Midwest is also very active producing a variety of “how to” video fishing tips and reports that also appear on a variety of electronic media outlets.
