Angler Tracy Hartman caught and released this 11-pound, 8-ounce largemouth bass on April 28, 2019, potentially setting the new Women’s 1 kg (2 lb) Line Class World Record! Hartman was fishing Lake Dixon, California, and caught the potential record bass on a Berkley Fishing Mini Jig. The current record stands at 4 pounds, 7 ounces.

Finnish angler Tomi Valkamaa potentially set the new IGFA All-Tackle Length World Record for zander with this quality 77-centimeter fish that he recently caught and released! The current record stands at 75 centimeters.

12 years ago today, angler Christopher Deckert set the Male Junior World Record for gag grouper with this impressive 58-pound, 8-ounce fish that he caught while fishing off Destin, Florida on May 20, 2007. Deckert was bottom fishing with cut mackerel and needed 20 minutes to land the fish.
