After doing some tweaking on the sights for elevation, and using Hornady Black Diamond BBs along with “Kentucky windage”, I drilled the center of the 2″ black dot from 7 and 10 yards with my Daisy Outdoor Adult Red Ryder, shooting free standing.
I also did some plinking of empty water bottles from 15 yards, and took out 5 in 6 rounds. It would have been 5 in 5, but for some reason the bottle just wobbled and didn’t fall on the first round.
The temperature dropped enough that my hands were getting too cold to shoot anymore, plus with that much cold the accuracy was going to start falling off.
Until next time, shoot safe and have a great day of plinking.
This video is more for the beginners who have never optically adjusted a shot with what some call “Kentucky Windage”. I used the Daisy Outdoor Adult Red Ryder for shooting targets and plinking empty water bottles in cold enough weather that you will see ice fly off one of the bottles that is shot.
You will also get a close up look at a Taurus USA cap that some have said they can’t read. Ruger‘s Wrangler is also shown and talked a little about again, but nothing major. #henryhoodie #rugerwranglerrevolver #daisyadultredryder #taurusmakerevolversgreatagain
