Management Plan Will Affect Target Shooting on Public Lands in Southwest Colorado – In the draft plan are four management strategies (alternatives) that will affect the future use of the land for hunting, target shooting, and a host of other recreation activities.  The plan does not affect hunting; however, each of the alternatives would close acreage to target shooting.

Missoula City Council’s gun ordinance left many wondering how the new legislation will be enforced. City council voted 8-4 to require background checks in all private gun sales Monday.The Missoula Police Department says they plan to enforce the ordinance on a “complaint basis,” but specifics will not be outlined until the ordinance goes into effect at the beginning of November.
