The Virginia Outdoor Report – Early August Edition

The Virginia Outdoor Report - Early August EditionHeadline story: Freedom Hunters Host Chesapeake Bay Fishing for Veterans – On Saturday, July 30, 2016 ten warriors from Maryland and Virginia enjoyed a successful day on the waters of the Chesapeake Bay fishing for Striped Bass compliments of Captain Charlie Bryan, Captain Mark Galasso and the National Capital Chapter of Safari Club International. The warriors had a great day of fishing on the water followed by a magnificent crab feast, prepared by Captain Mark’s wife Cindy, on the shore of the bay after they finished fishing! This is the third consecutive year that the Captains and SCI’s National Capital Chapter have teamed up to provide these fantastic trips for our warriors. Many thanks to Captain Charlie, Captain Mark and wife Cindy, and SCI’s National Capital Chapter for their continued generosity and support of Freedom Hunters and for caring for our nations TRUE heroes.  Bud DePlatchett, Board of Directors and East Coast Coordinator for Freedom Hunters expressed appreciation for the volunteers who made this trip successful and of course, THANK YOU to these service members for their service and sacrifice protecting the freedoms of individuals world-wide!
