“Catching crappies is as Minnesotan as shoveling snow. It’s a fish of spring, and it’s also a fish for kids of any age. Our contest is really not so much a contest, as a celebration of fishing.”

Contest hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Each contestant may weigh one crappie to be eligible for prizes. Proceeds from the contest will go to Fishing for Life.

Contest sponsors include Tracker Boats, Cabela’s, KARE-11, and Outdoor News.
