IOWA: TROUT RELEASE AT WEST LAKE PARK OCTOBER 17TH, 2015

TROUT RELEASE AT WEST LAKE PARKThe Scott County Conservation Board is pleased to announce that on October 17th at 1030 a.m., approximately 2,000 Rainbow Trout will be released in Lake of the Hills. There will be 200 trout that will be tagged and prizes will be awarded for tagged fish. Additionally, there will be raffle prizes where any person at the event stands a chance of receiving a prize. Several sponsors will be available and the Wapsi Environmental Education Center will have staff on-hand for educational purposes. Bass tournament angler/president of Blitz Lures, Terry Vance will again be on hand to display his products and speak with the public. Also on site will be bass tournament angler, Joe Vance; Jiffy Pro Staff member, Don Banning; and Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame Legendary Communicator and host/author of Dan’s Fish ‘N’ Tales®, Dan Galusha.
